Yoz! :D

While the rest of the school's tuning back into their normal daily school life, the whole sec3 cohort went on "extended holiday" to Pulau Ubin! Which happened to be a great relieve to me because I've not finished all my holiday homework, heh, and was rushing the day before OBS to finish all my h/w before that particular period. Thank God no Chem no Phy. I damn slack lor but whatever. Haha. (:

OK. Anyway, we went to OBS in Pulau Ubin. I've stalled time blogging about it because, until right now, I still don't know how I feel about it, as a whole. I've read some individual's post about it, and they went into details, like listing out what happened in Day 1, Day 2 and blah blah. But don't know why, I cannot do it leh. It's like a feeling I cannot describe, haaaaa.

Ignoring that, when I know that we'll be grouped with other people across the level, I was super scared that I get people like you know, ahem ahem. And then guess what. I'm in this group called Magellan with nice instructors like Bibi and Bernard and nice people like Marmie, Clark, SiYan, SiYuan, Farhan, Gordon, Ashraf and Faridzuan, BUT (!) I've also got Darren Goh... in my freaking group. (!!!) When in the first place, he's not even suppose to be in my group! He swopped places with this guy called Ker Shuin, whom I've never heard before. Lol. And aiyah, knowing Darren so many years, he's still the same. Grr.

On the first day, honestly, I was super sad as it got darker, partly cos I was very very very irritated that all the other group got to bath and everything already while my group's still trying so hard to build a shelter over our food. But nvrmind, that's the later part. After I got my food, I immediately became okay again, haha.

Subsequently, the rest of the days were alright, but I was still kinda moody on the morning the next day, cos I'm like thinking, what am I doing here in Pulau Ubin being fed by mosquitos man and all this, damn irritating. I've never felt like this in camps or anything before. Even in China, I bathed in cold water, I also don't feel like going home leh. Don't know why this time like this. So it was a very annoyed feeling to me ah.

Anyway, on the second day, we went kayaking! My fav activity thoughout the whole camp. Although we had to get wet and everything. Uber fun la, I partnered Mark (3G) anyway, and I think he's quite nice and all. It even rained, and we met with high tides while we kayak, but it was still alright. And Mark was like damn funny, cos he was damn scared of capsizing. Actually me too. But I just told him to not be scared. Haha. I was really very scared when we had to delibrately campsized you know! All the water rushing into my nose and mouth, everything. I even got cut by the seabed, and it was flowing out like tomato sauce while kayaking.

We kayaked for like about an hour half before reaching, I felt super cold and my feet felt damn numb. With that, we still had to pitch our tents and everything. Plus it was getting dark already. Somemore, the rocks were so hard, we couldn't peg in the pegs and everything. Me, Gordon, and a few more were the pitching tents people, and I thought the cooking people had an easier time basically, cos they didn't had to plummet pegs into granite rock without any visible light what! So, yah.

The third day was imba man. We trekked for freaking 8 hours! Hahahaha, cool right. But I don't feel tired la, actually, from kayaking, trekking, I felt alright all the way. Except maybe rock climbing on the second day. Whoa, blooooooooody tiring man. How the hell Ashraf and Mark manage to climb till the top man. (!) K, back to trekking, I think it was only tiring at THAT POINT when you have to lug your backpacks, and walk all these you know. Somemore you're still dirty and all from kayaking. Utd?

And personally, I think Ashraf, the one with the vampire teeth (hahaha!) and Farhan's very responsible and good navigator. For one, they've never lead us to the wrong path, except the last part. But I reckon they're tired already, so mistake granted. They're good lah, I think. Just within a while, we got 3 checkpoints already. I think if we did not swum in the quarry, we'll arrive much much earlier, credits to them.

Anyway, ya! We got to swim in the quarry!!!!!!!!! Yayism to that, haha. At first, I was very apprehensive cos I did not want to wear back my stinky wet clothes and all. But after hearing what Bibi said, I think it'll be a total waste to not give it a try. :D That was when I met the other 3 missing groups from camp site 1. Haha, I didn't get to see them at all for the past 2 days and I thought they went home or something.

Hohoho, quarry jump:

The water is super duper clear la! Woots woots. And I think the jump is super fun, although the impact abit scary. Hahaha, we were all damn gay (happy) that we didn't want to leave the place that Bibi had to cook up some ghost story about the quarry people to scare us off. But haha, we just went up anyway.

Skip skip skip. We had to trek with our wet clothes, sadly. ): And after what seemed like ages, we finally reached camp site 2, yay, at like 5.40? Super late man, I think we're the last group to arrive, and people were like laughing at us. But no, is cos we did the quarry jump! :D And we weren't suppose to tell any groups about it lest they unhappy or what. But turns out, Michelle's group did it as well. (:

You can never imagine the exhilerating feeling I have inside me when I saw the quote from OBS: Perserverance prevails when all else fails. This. Made the butterflies in my stomach fly man. We're reaching OBS vincity already! Yay yay yay. I was damn happy, although I didn't show it. Of cos la, I was so physically drenched out already. Hee. (:

After that, we had cooking competition! (: And it was damn fun la, at least everyone paid a part for the first time. (: Some pitched tents, and some cooked. We made the Ah Beng soup, Ah mad noodle and the Ah Huat tea. :D It's a pity we didn't have any photos of our tea. It was chrysanthemum (idk how to spell) tea in bare apple. :D

Everyone won anyhow, which made the title 'Cooking Competition' abit meaningless but oh well. (:

What went on after that, was the best damn thing. EVER.

!!!

WE BATHED! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

The feeling damn shiok man, until now, it's still quivering in me, heheheh. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Hahaha kay la, abit too far stretched already. Then we were chased to bed, and we were awoken by Bernard at 5 am. Everyone overslept! Hahaha. Aiya, surely it's Ashaf's tongkat bedtime story that kept everyone disturbed. Lolololol. :P

After that, there weren't much happenings already since it's the last day. We only had to check our stores and stuff. Whoa, the most irritating job is to clean the ground sheeet. Eeeeeyer! Never ever wanna do it again.

And my group skipped the jetty jump, cos we didn't wanna do it. Haha. After a few hours, we were all set to go home already. Bernard returned our handphones, wallet and everything else. Gave us our certificates and photos. And as usual, ended off with his cliched way of ancient China story, haha. (:

After buying OBS items, we're like really going home already. Btw ah, the OBS shirt damn ex siaaa. =/ I never check the price before buying, now I'm broke. Hurhur.

After the whole course, I think I might go for the 21 days one. Hahaha. Joke. I don't know, but I think it'll be in the near future. (:

And oh ya, the whole trip, almost everyone who saw me say my face were blushing red. Mark said I put blusher. (!) Win liao lor this one. I never. K. And some say its sunburn. But I don't feel the pain. Lol. K nvrmind. I've got scalp sunburn (according to SiYan), my nose is peeling, and I'm so much tanner!! I'm so black now!!!!!!

):

Nvrmind, I hope I'll turn white as quick as I always do. I suddenly remember Faridzuan saying I was gonna faint. Aha, I think I got him there when I was about to "faint". I didn't la aiyo. I just felt slightly giddy after kayaking and was trying to sleep while standing. Lol. Thanks Huijun anyway. :D

Hmmm, I thought I won't have much to say about OBS, yet I keep regurgitating things out. And waa, quite lengthy right this post. Haha, overall, I've said how I feel about this camp. And I STILL DON'T KNOW how I feel about it so.. yup.

I've got to know more people better you see like Gordon, Ashraf and Faris. They're all nice in their own ways, even Ashraf. I think his vampire teeth make him very cute. xDDDDDDDDD Gordon, very kuku, tend to speak more in chinese, and all the things he do resembles one of my very good friend thats outside school. :OO Faris, ahahha, funny as usual.

AND CHIAW MIN!
SAYA TERKENCHEK!
